Only The Health Centrum Hospital has a nuclear medicine center in northern Panay. It can do radioimmunoassay (RIA) for thyroid function tests as well as almost all hormone tests. It has recently acquired a gamma camera, which allows us to do thyroid scans, and other nuclear medicine scans. We are also now able to do radioactive iodine (RAI) therapy.
