The Laboratory Department offers state-of-the-art machines to help the doctors arrive at accurate diagnoses. It offers dry (Fuji) technology, wet reagent (ELISA) technology and other modalities for blood chemistry analysis. While offering basic tests like CBC, electrolytes, ABG,fecalyisi, and urinalysis, it also does Dengue Duo, Typhidot, antigen-antibody and HIV tests, GGT and other specialized examinations. It has a bacteriology laboratory that does not only gram stain and AFB smears, but also bacterial culture and sensitivity tests. 

It is the only laboratory in Roxas City and Northern Panay that can do rapid histopath frozen section examination using a cryostat. For tests that are not yet available, such as TB culture, immunohistochemistries, and tumor markers.

THC laboratory has a tie-up with Makati Medical Center, RITM and NKTI laboratories. Heading the THC laboratory is Dr. Julia Tan, former UPCM-PGH Professor, and former chair of laboratory department of Metropolitan Hospital in Manila.
